Faces Of The 80’s…Pt.1

Tomorrow is Wednesday again… So I guess i won’t be granted
with a quiet night in! ‘Party all the time’ is the way of life here in TYO!

Hopefully while we’re partying away to the sounds of Movado and
Capelton, we won’t have any facial expressions like Eddie in the
video below! The self assuring head-bop and ‘control myself from grinning’
smirk on his face is so reminiscent of the 80’s, it’s cringe-worthy in ‘08!

CRAPMAN MORE LIKE IT!!!

I must one be one of the only dudes who thinks the new Batman movie isn’t that great!

Everybody was freakin out about how good it was… So i waited till the hype died and
dived in and what i saw… Okay but better than IRON MAN?

HELL NO!

They have made so many Bat films they was bound to get something half decent in the end,
but IRON MAN that was the 1st film and it kicked ass! I’ve been reading comics for
so long that as reader we know what we want when we see our lives (Yes we can dream)
on the silver screen. BATMAN was okay but it was no DARK NIGHT RETURNS for
me. I even liked the HULK better…

I guess my heart has always been MARVEL and as Stan Lee would say…

Welcome Back Brass!

Well, where do i start? Firstly I’d like to apologize to you all
for my recent absence...That is of course, if any of you even noticed! Lol!

So what’s new? I’ve recently moved house… I was living in Asakusa for
nearly 10 months, but desperately needed more living space and some well
deserved privacy, so i’ve moved to a tidy new apartment in Nerima.

The rental company I was previously with are EXCREMENT… and no, I
didn’t mean ‘excellent’! Basically i called them to give them 1 weeks notice to
leave my apartment, but they required 3 weeks notice as stipulated in
the contract… F*ck the contract!

So as an inconvenience to them, in terms of void periods etc… they tried
to get me to pay a 38,000 yen fine for moving out without proper notice…
LMAO!! So of course I VERBALLY agreed to pay, but really my intentions
were to just disappear a day before checking out, thus losing my 20,000 yen
deposit, but saving another 18,000 yen in the process!

Basically a few friends talked me out of disappearing due to credit blacklisting
etc so i decided to wait to check out (end the contract) officially and simply
delay paying them the 38,000 yen fine till they signed me out. Once signed out,
the contract would be over and any money owed would be invalidated due to the
contract expiration.

Check out day:

I cleaned the apartment fully and removed 90% of my belongings
with the kind help of Mr Tikini, Inumikaku and Shalom God… Leaving the
only remaining task to hand in the keys and collect my deposit (which I
honestly didn’t care for anymore)… The inventory clerk, Eddie, came round
to process the check-out and said that qualify for my whole deposit back, but due
to the fact i hadn’t paid them the 38,00 yen fine, that they could not issue it to me.
He insisted that I sign a NEW document to agree that I will pay the 38,000 yen to
them within the specified period… I declined! Well, I basically told him to “Fuck off,
I ain’t signing shit. As the tenancy contract is now officially over, the only liability
I have to your company is the fact that I’m stood here in the apartment talking to
you now… So if you don’t mind, I’m gone. Have a nice weekend!” I asserted!
Then like some over-dramatic homosexual hairdresser from your favorite soap
opera, the clerk screamed:

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I’ll, i’ll, i’ll call the police” He stuttered!

I smirked, picked up my rucksack and made for the door. He tried to stand in the
way, but then must have seen my inherently broad shoulders and moved aside…
As he fumbled with his PINK mobile phone to call the police, i asked him if he thought
I was a criminal. “No.” he replied… I told him to think about what he was doing,
and that he’d be wasting his time. He tried to follow me down the street for a while,
then bravely asked me to return the key that I had earlier given to him…
I stopped walking, looked at him and said: “Don’t f*cking try it! I put that key in your
filthy hands earlier!"… I turned back around then continued my journey into the station…

...FREEDOM!! AHHH HA HA HA HAAAAA!

Right now, I’m sat in my boxer shorts enjoying my new humble abode, where
I’m in the process of building my new studio accompanied by the sounds of
Curtis Mayfield and the neighborhood children playing happily outside…

Yah Man! So it go!
